The 2018 Pokemon GO Summer Tour ended with a Safari Zone event held in Yokosuka, Japan.
65.000 Trainers attended the event, which was held in three different parks of the Japanese city of Yokosuka. The participants did more than catching Pokemon, they also helped clean the environment, volunteering to pick up litter from the parks. In addition to the participants to the event over 200.000 Pokemon fans visited the city of Yokosuka.
The event was celebrated within the game as well with the unlocking of special worldwide bonuses and the opportunity to encounter rare Pokemon in Gyms.
