Todd Howard stopped by the Microsoft E3 press conference ahead of Bethesda’s presentation later today to reveal some details about Fallout 76.
According to Howard, the game will be the biggest Fallout yet and will be “four times the size of Fallout 4.” We also got confirmation at the conference that the game will be a prequel to every other Fallout games and is set in West Virginia, facts that were hinted at when the game was revealed.
Fallout 76 was revealed in a teaser trailer last month.
Update: Todd Howard announced at the Bethesda press conference that Fallout 76 will be released on November 14, 2018.
